 Capo's Family has been on TV recently & here are a few articles to share!


Capo’s is a Las Vegas gangster genre restaurant and speakeasy, opened by Chicago native Nico Santucci back in 2002. Nico’s brother Dominick runs the establishment, which for over 15 years was hauling in over $5 million a year. But when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Capo’s was forced to close its doors for six months and almost immediately lost millions of dollars in the process. Capo’s was eventually allowed to reopen under strict health guidelines and at a reduced capacity, but management and the staff struggled to navigate the new challenges facing the bar. Enter Jon Taffer and the Bar Rescue team.

Las Vegas Successful Restaurateur, Nico Santucci, Hosts the Bar Rescue Season Launch, with his Team at Capo’s Restaurant and Speakeasy

Nico Santucci has shown his leadership prowess in recent times, a feature that was recently brought to bear after his restaurant, Capo’s Restaurant and Speakeasy, hosted the launch episode of the current season of Bar Rescue. Bar Rescue was created by Jon Taffer as a bar-saving series to help businesses in the industry revive their brand and the 2021 edition of the series was particularly helpful, considering the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on hospitality industry.

Led by the passionate Nico Santucci, Capo’s Restaurant and Speakeasy has been providing Las Vegas locals and tourists with delectable Italian dishes in an old-school gangster-themed speakeasy for over 15 years. However, the Covid-19 pandemic forced the restaurant to shut down for 6 months, leading to millions in lost revenue.

However, Nico did not let the pandemic affect his philanthropy, as he continued to help families, giving them an opportunity to take what was left of the company’s capital in order to help provide for their loved ones. The action caught the attention of Jon Taffer of Bar Rescue, who could not bear seeing the business collapse. Jon and Santucci made an almost instant connection, which led to the season launch of Bar Rescue in Capo’s.

In the tradition of The Magic Castle, comes a new type of magic experience to Las Vegas! While there are plenty of magic shows that are spectacular and big, we have a show that is as intimate and special as sitting in the living-room of a great illusionist.The magician, known only as "V." will be presenting this unique show 4 nights a week,Thursday through Sunday, at 9:30pm.

Considered by many in the magic community as one of the best underground sleight-of-hand artists, V is exclusive to Capo’s Restaurant  Speakeasy. With over 30 years of experience and study, you will see classics of magic that are thousands of years old, alongside new effects that won't be seen anywhere but at our show. What you won't see are "big box" tricks, tigers, and lots of dancing.

 The show is heavy in audience participation. The section on mind-reading will have you believing in psychic phenomena, even though V will openly talk about how it is all a trick... exposing some of the top "psychics" and their methods to take advantage of the public. It is a celebration of an art-from that can sometimes be maligned as "kid's stuff".

Soooo, we had a special guest in the house...the one and only Joe Gannascoli, who you may also know as Vito Spadafore from a little show called "The Sporanos"! Joe came in, chatted with our owner Nico Santucci & then proceeded to head into the ktichen, where he prepared his specialty "Vito's Rigatoni" -- a splendid dish consisting of rigatoni, arugula, smoked mozzarella, shitake mushrooms, love & a little bit o' this n' that! If we told you all the ingredients, well...YOU KNOW...

The restaurant cheerfully embraces the city’s scandalous past, from its wood-paneled walls accented with movie posters to a menu of Italian classics sporting snap-brim fedoras and colorful names.
